Does anyone remember Opryland? I do, I loved Opryland, that was the best field trip I took from my little town when I was a kid. Well, now we have Dollywood which is located in the Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
I believe Dollywood is larger than Opryland was, the most important part of it, right now it's Tennessee's only large amusement park. We can go any direction to Six Flags, but we should support our Tennessee businesses.
Location, Location, Location, yeah Dollywood is in East Tennessee and it's a little out of our way. You get the great job of seeing the mountains, also I must mention Gatlinburg has a ton of great things to do. Make a trip of it get a hotel or even better a cabin and have a family trip for the weekend.
